Now that Summer is right around the corner and the weather is warming up, you're skin is slowly transitioning. Here's some tips on transitioning your routine for the summer.
the Winter's months can make the skin look dull. Exfoliating will remove any excess dead skin cells and lead to a brighter complexion. Make sure to wear sunscreen because exfoliation makes the skin more susceptible to sun damage. Stick to night time exfoliation to avoid these issues.
Carrots contain carotenoids, pigments, that give the carrot its orange color. Eating carrots can give a slightly "tan" glow to the face when eaten in moderation. Don't overdue it otherwise it can be dangerous and make you look too orange.
3. Change your face products
Cleansers and moisturizers should be lighter than in the winter. This means gel cleansers for oily skin. Creamy liquid cleansers for dry skin. Moisturizers should be less heavy and sunscreen is even more important during the summer months. The sun can cause the skin to produce more oils. Watch and see how your skin is reacting. sweating is the body's natural way of releasing toxins. Sweat by itself will not clog pores, but when mixed with bacteria from a dirty hand or towel it can cause break outs. With the weather warming up, this shouldn't be too difficult. Beach run?
